The School of Arts and Sciences at the American University in Dubai is currently accepting applications for part-time Adjunct Instructors to begin teaching in Spring 2026. The area of specialization is World Cultures.

The successful candidate should have:

• A Master’s degree in History, Cultural Studies, or a closely related field from a Western-accredited institution of higher education;
• Experience teaching History or Cultural Studies courses in a Western higher education system preferred, with high ratings of teaching effectiveness;
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills; and
• An ability to work collegially within a diverse team of faculty members.

Successful candidates will need to provide original academic transcripts.
 
The university has flexible timings, including morning, afternoon, and evening classes. 

These positions are part-time and suit those candidates already resident and under sponsorship in Dubai.
