The School of Arts and Sciences at the American University in Dubai is currently accepting applications for part-time Adjunct Instructors in English to begin teaching in Fall 2026.

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in English or Rhetoric and Composition from a Western-accredited university;                         
• Experience teaching first-year writing courses;
• Previous teaching experience in a Western higher education system preferred, with high ratings of teaching effectiveness.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills; and
• An ability to work collegially within a team of faculty members.

A Successful candidate must provide original academic transcripts upon hire.

The university has flexible timings, including morning and afternoon classes. 

These positions are part-time and are suitable for candidates who are already residents and under sponsorship in Dubai.
